With the UK easing lockdown restrictions and vaccination still ongoing, it is important to continue using surgical-style masks that properly filter bacteria, particles and viruses.

When COVID-19 began spreading in February 2020, there was a lack of high-quality face masks in Hong Kong. The city’s bus company, KMB, wanted to protect its employees as well as its passengers and so decided to start making its own masks. KMB now runs five machines that produce 100,000 high quality masks per day in Hong Kong.
